Purchasing Associate / Jr. Buyer

Job Function

Perform diversified duties requiring considerable judgment to analyze requirements and proposals from all sources of supply, for agreement with specification, delivery and price.
Communicate with suppliers verbally and through written email.
Analyze MRP requirements for commodities assigned – validate the requirements accuracy, then prepare and place Purchase Orders per scheduled requirements.
Track and expedite deliveries, if required.
Interview & monitor suppliers – develop adequate and reliable sources of supply for commodities assigned.
Analyze & summarize data and trends in an effort to reduce cost & improve supplier performance including lead times, delivery and quality.
Act as the main point of contact for Mfr’s Reps & Suppliers.
Act as the main point of contact for Mfr’s Reps & Suppliers.
Operate within established budgets.
Interact with cross-functional disciplines.
Adhere to company policies.

SMT Operator

Job Function

Must be familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT).
Ability to identify component packages and values.
Must be able to set-up and operate automated SMT assembly equipment including Screen Printers, Pick N Place, and Reflow Ovens (Training Available).
Perform machine set-up/tear down and cleanup according to procedures.
Document and maintain quality records for machine set up, feeder exchanges and 1st Article inspection results according to procedures.
Able to perform visual inspections of SMT Assemblies.
Maintain a clean and orderly working area.
Communicate machine operation status and errors to SMT Support Staff./Production Supervisor.
Work with other team members to implement quality and performance improvement.

QA / Final QA INSPECTOR

Job Function

Perform visual inspection of electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, custom fab parts and components for defects according to Supervisor instructions.
Perform mechanical measurement of parts to verify accuracy in accordance with Supervisor instructions.
Reject faulty assemblies or parts, mark defects, report defects in the Intranet database and report findings to Supervisor.
Record inspection results on the Intranet database (FPY, Defect Entry, Customer Return Database).
Maintain clean and organized work area.
Responsible for accuracy and quality of own work.
Adhere to Company Policies.
Perform other related duties as instructed.

Manufacturing Manager Level 1

Job Function

This position will manage various specialized electrical, mechanical, and manual tasks associated with electronic product manufacturing.
Coordinates and manages human and material resources to achieve delivery of quality products on schedule and within/below budget.
Ensures assigned team members receive the training they need to perform their functions efficiently and cost effectively.
Plan, direct and coordinate Production to achieve goals for resource utilization, quality, delivery and cost of products
Position requires to be able to work with customer service, program management, and meet customer critical schedules.
Identify and fulfill all personnel staffing requirements to meet objectives for production volume, introduction of new products and implementation of improvement programs.
Develop and implement an annual operating plan for manufacturing, which is consistent with and supports the business plan
Develop and implement improvement programs consistent with the corporate and site objectives to improve quality, delivery, cycle time, cost and asset management
Develop, implement and maintain active programs in the areas of training and personnel development to improve job skills and performance, provide career opportunities both inside and outside manufacturing and build a cohesive and effective team
Work well with Program Management and Planning to develop production schedules consistent with customer requirements and manufacturing capability
Identify equipment and facility requirements to support the short- and long-term business plans
Actively participate in new product development programs to assure rapid transition into manufacturing
Evaluate worker performance, recommend salary changes, promotions, discipline, leaves of absence and terminations
Ensure team members comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualification & Location

5-7 years of electronics manufacturing experience; Contract manufacturing preferred, must be able to maintain ISO certifications and always working towards continuous improvements for the manufacturing floor.
3+ years of leadership role experience, work well as a team member

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration or a combination of education and experience. Be able to hit the ground running, and get the tasks completed on time.
This position requires a US citizenship, some travel maybe be required. This position will report to Director of Operations.
